Like any area of your home, you need to keep your quartz countertops clean to ensure they look their best. It is a material especially designed for kitchens, and therefore is not porous, being easy to clean and waterproof. It also has an anti-bacterial surface.Regular cleaning with mild soap and a nonabrasive cleaning pad will keep them in tip-top shape. Though quartz is extremely durable, it is still subject to possible abrasion and staining from chemicals, bleach, and harsh cleaners, so those products should be avoided.

In addition, quartz may be impermeable to a lot of things but it is intolerable to high heat so refrain from putting hot pots and pans on its surface. Quartz is generally resistant to temperatures up to 250 Celsius, but sudden changes of temperatures may damage the surface.
