Avoid getting bleach, nail polish remover, cooking grease, marker, drain cleaner and highly acidic or highly alkaline chemicals on granite. These items can damage the resin and or discolor the pigments.

Quartz is easy to clean and maintain, and you never have to worry about harmful toxins. Non-porous and requiring no sealant, they’re easy to maintain and clean with just mild soap and water. Avoid cleaning quartz worktops with highly acidic or alkaline cleaning agents. These chemicals can damage the surface of quartz and ware of its shine.

Quartz is highly stain resistant.Out of all the natural stones available, quartz is the least likely to stain. Quartz is non-porous means it doesn’t absorb liquids or substances, unlike granite or marble.
