Quartz polishes can be used to polish quartz, but such stains can resemble quartz etches or dull, limestone stains and cannot be repaired without the use of a special quartz polishing paste.

A: Summerly quartz surfaces are highly scratch resistant; however, avoid using sharp objects such as sharp knives on the surface. The use of a cutting board is recommended.

Q:How does summerly quartz compare to other surfaces?

A: Summerly Quartz is comprised mostly of quartz, which is harder and stronger than granite. The resin binder acts as a sealant, which makes the entire quartz stone surfaces completely non-porous.

Q:What is the difference between quartz and granite?

A: Quartz is a man-made material made up of resins and crushed natural quartz while granite is a natural stone. Quartz is non-porous so it resists staining much better than granite . It stands up to tea, juice, oil, coffee and other sources of stains in the kitchen better.
