Quartz has a non-porous surface that is almost impossible to stain. Resins are forming a waterproof surface and are the reason why no liquids will be able to leave a stain on quartz surfaces. Even the most persistent liquids like juice or wine will not stand a chance. When you come across hard to remove materials such as splattered grease, use a degreasing cleaner first, then wipe it away using a clean damp cloth. Unlike natural stone, engineered stone doesn't need to be sealed. Engineered stone, like natural quartz itself, comes in a rainbow of colors and can be matched with any kitchen decor. It's the coloring dyes within the resins used to make quartz tiles and countertops that are affected.
